An article a couple of days ago in USA Today talks about the story out of Jena, LA and focuses on the groundswell of support for the young African Americans who face trumped up charges for a school yard fight culminating out of racial tension from a local high school that by all accounts started with the appearance of three nooses hanging from a school yard tree.
The article talks about how the Jena 6 have gained wide support among African Americans and is one of the few nation wide news outlets with significant reach that has done a story on Jena. Here is the article.
