Joe the Joker

This guy, what a joke. He's sent to Israel to report, as a member of the media, on the Israeli side of the current Gaza conflict. But, he says media should not be allowed to report. Here is Joe the reporter calling the media to gather around him so he can say he is not the story and then proceed to question the reporters beliefs and loyalties.

On the Ground in Gaza

I came across the Twitter of a user called Gazamom. She runs a blog about life as a mother and journalist from Gaza (she i currently in North Carolina). Currently, her twitter posts are offering detailed, on the ground reports from her father and other sources concerning the state of the citizens of Gaza and the invasion by Israel. Who Wants Peace in the Middle East?

The answer is, "no one who matters".

An Israeli patrol boat repeatedly rammed a boat en route to Gaza packed full of relief supplies and medical volunteers damaging the boat. The boat was not able to make it to Gaza and was instead forced to divert to Lebanon. The Israeli ship accused the relief boat of engaging in terrorism. Interesting definition of terrorism.

CNN is reporting on the rather dire medical situation in Gaza right now: no shelters! no medical supplies! Wold have been nice if this boat and its supplies cold have made it through.

Israeli officials claim the boat was not intentionally rammed. According to those on the boat, including a CNN correspondent, it did appear as thought the Israeli Navy ship purposely rammed the relief boat.
