Once More, No Feelings

I admit it. I am a fan of the television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I never thought I could be but last Winter, and into the Spring, we watched every single episode from start to finish on DVD. One of the episodes of the show, a musical titled "Once More, With Feeling", has become the shows most popular and notable episode.

I don't like musicals. I wasn't necessarily a huge fan of this particular episode but I did find it funny and interesting that the show had started to gain a Rocky Horror Picture Show-like following. Played in theatres throughout the country, fans of the show participated in singalongs and dressed like characters from the series. Now, 20th Century Fox has called in their lawyers to put an end to the screenings. They just can't stand the thought of someone making money off of ideas thought up by someone they own (in this case writer Joss Whedon). This is the type of thing that makes people HATE big corporate movie studios and record companies. Greedy!
