As I say, Geekcorps is cool. They got some recent buzz from Time. They provide training and advice to people in the "low-income world"on internet and communication technologies and ways to use the knowledge to start their own business. One interesting thing they have done is designed a Desert PC specifically to work in hot, desert climates with limited access to electricity. Here they are.
