For the sake of tying up loose ends the "provocateurs" in the youtube video in a previous post have been confirmed to be police by the Quebec Police Department. However, they also said the officers were not their to provoke protesters. NO SHIT! They were there to provoke the police into acting against the protesters. By the way this kind of stuff happens in the good ol' USA and NYC. Check out this NY Times video story about coppers working undercover during the Critical Mass bike ride.
