Puerto Rico Wants More Autonomy

Less than a week after the anniversary of the usurping of Puerto Rico by the United States the Governor of the U.S. "commonwealth" has requested that the United Nations "review the island's status" in hopes of gaining greater autonomy. Members of the Governor's political party hope to be able to negotiate their own trade deals in the future while maintaining a connection to the United States.
