Jena 6: UPDATE

A couple of new bits out of the sad Jena 6 story in Louisiana. The last of the black high school students arrested finally got of jail this week after the $100,000 bail could finally be paid. Also, the sentencing of the first student to go to trial, Michael Bell, was pushed back to September. It had been scheduled for this month. Bell was convicted and faces over 20 years in prison for what amounts to a schoolyard fight. Check my my earlier post and Democracy Now for more info.
