nice list. i am just now getting into the war on drugs album, it is very good.
other albums that i liked:
Plants and Animals-Parc Avenue (my album of the year)
Blitzen Trapper - Wild Mt. Nation
Silver Jews - Lookout Mountain, Lookout Sea
I've been meaning to pick up the Plants and Animals album based on your previous recommendation.
I liked Blitzen Trapper's Furr, but I haven't heard the one you listed there.
I have a hard time getting into previous Silver Jews albums for some reason.
Other good albums that didn't make my Top-10:
The Walkmen - You and Me
Frightened Rabbit - Midnight Organ Fight
Jason Collett - Here's to Being Here
Flying Lotus - Los Angeles
Hey guys, nice list. I was listening to Dept. of Eagles while on tour, nick i forgot to tell you about that last night.
the album is very very melodically complex, very beautiful.
dept of eeagles is the grizzly bear guy, and grizzly bear is pretty cool too.
oh and Dear Science was a treat, its really growing on me
whos "nick"?
damn, that '07 list is stocked full of stuff i'm still listening to now. maybe i'm just one year behind the times.
