An additional member of the Jena 6 has had his attempted murder charge reduced to assault. Robert Bailey is the 3rd member of the 6 to have his charges reduced. Mychal Bell the first of the 6 to face trial was convicted on the assault charge and will be sentenced September 20th. Bell faces 20 years in prison for his role in a one sided fight between 6 black high schoolers and a fellow white student at the end of a series of racially charged confrontations among local students in the Louisiana town.
